Waiting Lists allow customers to register interest in fully booked services and automatically fill cancelled appointment slots.

Instead of turning customers away when your calendar is full, Get Synced lets them join a waiting list for a specific service, date, or time.

When a cancellation happens, the system can:

  • Automatically notify waiting customers

  • Offer the newly available slot

Follow these steps to enable and manage Waiting Lists:


Step 1: Enable Waiting Lists

  1. Log into your Get Synced dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Settings.

  3. Select Booking Settings.

  4. Toggle Enable Waiting List to ON.

Once enabled, customers will see an option to join the waiting list when no slots are available.


Step 2: Configure Notification Settings

You can choose:

  • How customers are notified (email)

  • How long they have to accept the slot

  • Whether the slot is automatically assigned or manually confirmed

  • Whether staff are notified of waiting list activity

💡 Tip: Short response windows (e.g. 1–2 hours) help fill slots quickly.


Step 3: Manage the Waiting List

From your dashboard, you can:

  • View customers currently waiting

  • Prioritise certain customers (e.g. VIPs)

  • Remove entries manually

  • Contact customers directly

This keeps you in control of the process.
