Set staff holidays and business closures in advance to prevent bookings during unavailable dates.

Holidays allow you to block out full days (or date ranges) when your business or staff are unavailable.

Instead of manually creating multiple Busy Slots, you can schedule holidays in advance to prevent bookings during planned time off.

This is ideal for:

  • Annual leave

  • Public holidays

  • Staff holidays

  • Business closures

  • Renovation periods

  • Seasonal shutdowns

Once set, customers will not see availability during those dates.

Holidays ensure your calendar stays accurate and stress-free.

Follow these steps to schedule a holiday:


Step 1: Access Holiday Settings

  1. Log into your Get Synced dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Settings.

  3. Select Holidays.

  4. Click Add New Holiday.


Step 2: Choose the Date Range

Enter:

  • Start date

  • End date

  • Apply to:

    • Entire business

    • Specific staff member

    • Specific location (if using Multi Location)

Save changes.

The selected dates will now be blocked automatically.


Step 3: Review Availability

Once saved:

  • Those dates will appear as unavailable

  • Customers cannot book during that period

  • Booking widgets update instantly

  • Staff calendars reflect the holiday

No further action required.
